Having lived for 23 years in Southern Africa and worked for 14 years as fundraiser for an NGO with projects in Africa I feel very connected to the causes of Anan Clinica.
My aim is to contribute to steer Anan Clinica towards a sustainable future.

A doctor who enjoyed her time in Mozambique while working on a Malaria project with Feleciano and the activistas. With help from generous donations, she was able to distribute 1000 ‘mosquiteiras’ (mosquito nets) to the people in- and around Nanatha during the rainy season. By recruiting new volunteers and helping volunteers with their projects, she tries to empower the local community and enhance the quality of life in the village even more.

Feliciano

Project Leader

Our project leader on location is a local Mozambican with in-depth knowledge of the community. Originally from the village of Malema, he is married and has two children. His broad knowledge of the languages he speaks (Portuguese, Makua and English) and his organisational skills are essential to the success of the projects. He is a huge help for our volunteers in communicating with the community in Nanatha, and is an amazing source of information for us on community matters. His dream is to become a teacher.

A doctor who went to Nanatha for a hygiene project. She was amazed by how much you can do for the community in a short time together with the local people and with Feleciano. Because of the gratefulness of the community and the wonderful time she spent in Nanatha she wanted to stay in contact with the new volunteers and improve the current situation over there.
