About Fundaçao Nuarro
Our background
The people of Nanatha set up Anan (Associação dos Naturais e Amigos de Nanatha) because the community felt they were facing major problems, suffering from poverty and diseases without having the ability to fight against it.
Our approach
Fundaçao Nuarro focuses on expanding local knowledge on health and related subjects (such as hygiene, malnutrition, sexuality and reproduction), offering basic health care, education, agriculture and water management.
Our team
Our team consists of the board, students, teachers, and other professionals from all fields of knowledge.
On a completely voluntary basis we work together with the people of Nanatha to create a healthy, educated, and self-sustaining community.
